Terms of Service

Service Description

WattPlot provides grid capacity intelligence for informational purposes. The service aggregates publicly available data from UK Distribution Network Operator (DNO) open data portals to help users understand electricity grid capacity near their sites.

Data Accuracy

All data presented by WattPlot is sourced from DNO open data portals and is provided as an indicative risk signal only. WattPlot reports are not an engineering report and should not be treated as such. The data may be incomplete, delayed, or subject to change without notice.

Users must commission professional surveys and obtain formal connection offers from the relevant DNO before making investment decisions based on grid capacity information.

No Connection Cost Guarantees

WattPlot does not estimate or guarantee connection costs. Connection costs depend on numerous factors including network reinforcement requirements, distance to connection points, and DNO-specific pricing. Only a formal connection offer from the DNO can provide accurate cost information.

Intellectual Property

All content, tools, and software on the WattPlot platform are owned by WattPlot. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. Your data belongs to you -- you retain full ownership of any site data you submit to the service.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. WattPlot makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data or reports.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WattPlot's total liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the service shall be limited to the total fees paid by you to WattPlot in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
